May marked a few milestones. The club administrator, `vest survived his one-year anniversary. The performance of the club was also doing well, particularly in the yearly pre-summer slow-down that is common throughout all Internet community sites during the second half of spring. May saw hundreds of linearts being submitted, hundreds of color submissions, plenty of new members, and the kick start of the just completed "Modern Monster" lineart contest.

June looks forward to the color portion of the "Modern Monster" contest, and no doubt, another batch of hundreds of lines and color pieces.

Yet with the flow of incoming work, we can only select so many to feature. But May was also a milestone in featuring work, where the number of weekly featured pieces was increased to 4. Here were the pieces that were featured through the month of May, 2008.
