^projecteducate's schedule is moving forward, and this week the turn has come to Artisan Craft! There will be a week long mini-contest, lots of get togethers in #ArtisanCrafts (the official AC Chat Room), articles, interviews and just some general goodness, sharing and creativity!

What IS Artisan Crafts?

Artisan Crafts is tangible craft work created by the artist, including leather working, glass-blowing metalwork or textiles crafted for utilitary use.

Artisan Crafts on dA refers to anything of a 3D nature that is not traditional art (painting, traditional sculpting, etc). The categories try to stick to traditional Artisan Craft media, yet have additional categories for more modern takes on the genre. Generally anything hand made that serves a function and is also seen as a work of art or has artistic elements to it
