Scott Forstall - Showing how easy it is to create a UI in Interface Builder, creating basic app called Nearby Friends. App makes use of Address Book API as well as Core Location API. Developers are free to give away their applications. Developers choosing to charge will receive 70-percent of the revenue.Apps 10mb or less can be downloaded over carrier network, Wi-Fi and iTunes. While Apps 10mb or above can only be downloaded over WiFi and iTunes.Enterprise users can deliver apps through Intranet to client iPhones (via iTunes).A third way to distribute apps is Ad Hoc. Developers can be certified, then register 100 iPhones. Afterwards, apps can be thrown around in email and installed willy nilly as long as the phones installing them is part of the 100.Mobile me:Mobile Me is like "Exchange for the rest of us." Everyone gets push email, calendars and contacts with MobileMe. Everything stays in sync, Mac, PC and iPhone. Works over the air, wirelessly. MobileMe works with Mail.app, iCal and Address Book and also works with Outlook on Windows.
Me.com:
Incredible Web 2.0 applications provide a desktop-like experience on the web to work with all of your data. Includes Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Gallery applications. Photos are synced over the air too. Your iDisk is also integrated into Me.com as well.
MobileMe will replace .Mac and is available for $99 a year with 20GB of online storage. Available in early July.
iPhone 3G:
