Apoligies if I sound harsh. I'm just so SICK of Deviantart being abused.

Deviantart is a place for ART! This is why it's called DeviantART. To all those who actually use thier brain, would have known that by now but you are free to agree or Lol at my news article.

Deviantart is for....
* Artists who thrive to improve.
* Artists to appreciate other people's arts.
* Critiques to help artists to improve thier future works by giving thier honest opinion.
* A place to express ourselves with photography, litrature, drawings pictures ect,

Deviantart is NOT....
*A porn site
* A social networking site, go on bebo, myspace, facebook, Hi5, friendster ect.
* A place to uploading stuff that's not yours - Go to photobucket for that. This means whatever you submit has to come completly by you.
* A place to whine about stuff, the majority of us don't really give a shit.
* A popularity contest.
* A who can get the most friends contest.

Some tips and advice.
* Don't flame critiques - They're only trying to help. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
* Ignore flamers and spammers - Attacking them and flaming them back will be giving them what they want. They'll love the attention and they could also use it against you.
* Avoid complaining about lack of popularity.
* Be gratful for all your favs, comments and watchers.
* Know the difference between Critism and Flaming.

This is constructive critismn.
"I think you need more shading on the hair, it looks bland and empty."

See, they're trying to be polite and give you advice on how you can improve.

Example of a flame
"OMG this sucks. This pic is so shit go and kill urself and never cum back"
Flames usally contain poor grammar, or over the top threats and usually have nothing else to say for themselves.

*Also when in doubt Deviantart has a helpdesk! Oh yes it does indeed, so when you get a wonderful note from ^devart saying your submissions were removed due to policy violations don't cry like a baby and whine on devart. IT IS A ROBOT AND WILL NOT RESPOND, hopefully a wise deviant will reply to your comment and may lead you to a link to the helpdesk [link] . Also if you are suspended from DA, don't whine on the helpdesk, it will make you look stupid. The staff do a great job here and they can't always get it right all the time. Life isn't fair I know.
