The textiles gallery is for items that you have created, With the Cosplay trend there has occasionally been confusion over where to place your cosplay's. In short if you made it then it does belong in the textiles gallery, providing it's a photograph of the costume, not just you wearing it at a con. ~dredhed wrote an informative article for cosplayers here
