First published live on the internet in December of 2006, Web Digest Weekly has devoted itself to the world of the arts and entertainment. From its inception, WDW has been a not-for-profit endeavor. No ad space is sold and no monies are either paid or accepted for the material which appears there. What began as a small website with three pages has grown exponentially over the past year and a half to include not only a Spotlight and a Poetry page, but also now features a Fiction, Reviews, Point of View, advice column, and an editor's page as well.

With that said, Web Digest Weekly is ready to expand again. Latest plans are to include a page called The Gallery where artists are welcome to submit a portrait or a photograph of their own work for exhibition. One piece will be chosen per week for exhibition and the artist will be credited and is invited to include a short biography of his- or her- self, as well as any links they choose to include. No fees are incurred and the artist retains all rights to the material provided. The piece will remain on the page for one seven day period and submissions are accepted on a first come - first serve basis. Dates of posting will be provided and the artist will receive an email when the work appears.

WDW hopes that this new page will expand and expound upon its efforts to promote the work of artists from various arenas of the entertainment industry, and further the mission of showcasing some of the world's finest artists and their talents.
