The small 3-man dev team that makes up Majestic Studios apparently thought that they could get away with stealing art assets created by other studios for a MULTITUDE of different games, and use those assets, UNALTERED, in their own game, and not get caught. They were sorely incorrect.
Majestic Studio's title Limbo of the Lost was recently released and it didn't take long for people all over to notice the numerous familiar environments that filled the game's trailers and screenshots.
Visit these sites for a number of direct side-by-side comparrisons of screenshots from Limbo of the Lost and the various titles it has stolen from.
[link]A few of the most obvious titles it has stolen from include Oblivion, Unreal Tournament, and Theif. Other titles include Konami's Silent Hill series, Lionhead's Black & White 2 (PC), Blizzard's Diablo 2 (PC), Troika's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (PC), Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (PC, Xbox), and The 1997 film Spawn.
A good read for further details on the issue would be the currently very active thread on NeoGAF -
