:spotlight-left: And now... "People's Choice" *FF features for JUNE! :spotlight-right:

:iconskywookiee:*SkyWookiee said the following:

by *genesis1979:icongenesis1979:

"I generally like warm colour schemes, but beside that, I loved
those black lines, looking like ink, wires or menacing tentacles.
It feels retro in some way to me... and its dynamic lines are
almost musical. I find this style of bold colours and flat shapes
not that common in fractal art, but it can be very nicely used."

****************************************************************

by *genesis1979:icongenesis1979:

"This is from the different series, in which all images have
a stained glass look, but this one is my favourites because it
uses a whole rainbow of colours beautifully, and that shape is
perfect. The resulting effect is very strong. It is both simple
and complex. And it looks like it is actually lit."

****************************************************************

by *genesis1979:icongenesis1979:

"Again, a glowing rainbow of colour in a striking shape.
This has the sort of simplicity in which perfection is found.
This is what I imagine a visual representation of coming up
with a great idea might look like."

****************************************************************
****************************************************************

:iconhadarniel:*Hadarniel said the following:

by *kayandjay100:iconkayandjay100:

"Upon looking at this fractal, I can't help but daydream with
its beautifully metallic gradient and its sense of depth and
infinity. It is one magnificent illusion of dancing flowers
that tickles my mind and opens a new world."

****************************************************************

by =Alterren:iconalterren:

"Two moons, one night. With intense color contrast, composition
and texture in an eerie synchronization, this image becomes a
mighty beacon that escaped the world of paintings and slipped
into the digital plane of fractal art."

****************************************************************

by ~premutos:iconpremutos:

"There are no doubts of the feelings rendered within this
fractal. It has mighty lighting and shapes to represent the
strength of will, and a softer gradient... characteristic of
undying love. All in a wild coexistence that develops as a
flawless representation of a powerful concept."

****************************************************************

by *LoonyL:iconloonyl:

"A glossy lighting. A glassy texture. A cool but lively gradient.
All three ingredients mixed in a fractal gem that is just too
good to pass up."

****************************************************************

by *theslider:icontheslider:

"This one certainly is a piece of art worthy of a museum.
With a simple gradient and composition, yet a search for a
meaning that never ends. It may appear plain at first sight,
but get a closer look, and your mind will be locked in a
question without answer."

****************************************************************
****************************************************************

:iconcolliemom:=Colliemom said the following:

by *baba49:iconbaba49:

"I am struck by the beautiful light radiating from the center of this piece and
flowing outward. The perspective of the piece is perfect, making it feel
like I could reach out and touch each delicate petal. It is indeed a delight!"

****************************************************************

by ~shi-chahn:iconshi-chahn:

"In the Ultra Fractal realm, this piece seems to combine the best
of all types of fractals. It looks like an Apophysis fractal but
was made in UF. The deep rich colors and overlapping textures
make it unique and beautiful."

****************************************************************

by *dana-martinez:icondana-martinez:

"A favorite fractal style of mine is this soft wispy look that
Dana is so skilled at. The combination of colors and light make
this one a standout. The piece appears to have real depth and
motion."

****************************************************************

by ~love1008:iconlove1008:

"I do not know how I could have missed this artist for so long
on DA, but I found him now! This piece is just a sample of the
amazing and original work this artist creates with Apophysis.
If I didn't know better, I would say it was a manipulated photo.
Each viewing reveals a new detail and even more surprises."

****************************************************************

by =SelfMadeQueen:iconselfmadequeen:

"If I knew how, I would work with glass to create works just
like this one. On first glance I thought this was an abstract
glass bowl, but it is a fractal. The combination of color,
shape, background and framing, place this as one of my faves!

****************************************************************
****************************************************************

:iconjennabee25:*jennabee25 said the following:

by *janetino:iconjanetino:

"Beautiful colors and great contrasts!"

****************************************************************

by *beebee127:iconbeebee127:

"Soft tones and ghostly shapes make this a treat to view."

****************************************************************

by =j14v6:iconj14v6:

"I like it when fractals look like things.
This piece is out of this world!"

****************************************************************

:icontwilightambiance:=TwilightAmbiance said the following:

by `MichaelFaber:iconmichaelfaber:

"Anyone who has glanced upon Michael's work at some time or another
(or are watching him) will notice that this piece is a radical departure from
what he usually makes, and I'm not talking about the gradient. Compared to
most of his gallery, this is quite minimalistic. What really catches my eye are
the shapes, which have a feeling of both liquidity and sharpness. The gradient
is very soothing, but as it draws you in closer and closer to this piece's center,
it gets in your face more, which I like. This isn't my favorite fractal of his, but
it's up there, and it certainly is one of the most intriguing in his gallery; I
wouldn't mind seeing more of the same."

****************************************************************

by =monochromatic-stains:iconmonochromatic-stains:

"Although the title given to this piece still confuses me, I will say that there's no
doubt in my mind that Anthony worked hard on this piece and it clearly shows.
When I look at this work, I automatically think Jack and the Beanstalk, which
is sort of appropriate, as I could see this in any picture book depicting the story
(an abstract picture book?). I can't say anything bad about the gradient choice.
I like the background a lot. It's just what I'd expect to see from such a high altitude.
The "beanstalk" itself could use some work, in my opinion, though. I would've
expected maybe something a little rounder, rather than wispy, but it's not that bad.
It's the concept and thought that counts, and that is where this piece succeeds."

****************************************************************

by ~ju-li3n:iconju-li3n:

"Besides having to search for monthly features for the *Apophysis club, whenever
I'm searching for a good fractal, I'm hitting the "Newest" section of the fractal art
gallery. It's a shame that so many quality fractals get lost in the sea of submissions
every day. Guess where this one was. Anyway, what attracted me to this piece was
the division of the fractal shown into four parts. Compositions like this, always makes
me smile, because it's different from the norm in the fractal art world. The gradient
is equally impressive, leaving the viewer at ease with its subdued blues while still
keeping interest at the same time. The piece isn't overly exciting, nor is it very laid
back. It's just one of those works that...I don't know. Take a look for yourself and
see what you think."
