The Best of September Visual Art!

Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it!

My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations.
Artists need to be supported.
So don't be shy!
Visit their pages, support them by faving, commenting, and when you see a deviation that you like also view their gallery entirely, like that you can decide if you will devwatch them or not.
Viewing only a deviation (what is great) is not enough
And if you want to see your favorite visual artists or art selected to be in this feature for the next month, send me via note the links/thumbs!

reports, June 17Last year, on June 19th, 2007, my husband and i lost our beloved grey cat of 15 years, Akhenaten, to kidney failure. Akh was the soul-mate companion to my husband, and the king of my world. He meant the world to us and his passing broke my heart. My husband, our orange tabby Billy, and i miss him terribly. This is my tribute to him.
AKHENATEN AMENOPHIS IV 'AKH' KING OF ALL CATS
finer lines never written
upon the white whiskers
of this our precious kitten
of crooked ear and golden saucer eyes
his mischievous disposition and
indelibly innocent expression
well telling of his youth and exuberance
...
our boy of pointy white boots
grey bunny fur and rumbling lion's purr
our regal alley cat
our king of all cats
our beautiful beautiful beautiful boy
our Akhenaten
...
all the world's sonnets and opuses
could hardly trumpet your treasures and wonders
and none shall ever touch upon the pure adoration
in one tiny meow from your handsome face
...
here in the moments of dislocation
where i think for just seconds i hear your padding behind me
or i see your pink nose just in the fleeting corners
i remember you pawing my back
trying to make me smile when i was down
and i think aloud then, smashing some tears away,
you are dearly missed, my son
and no one could ever replace you
...
