Some of the prettiest scenery shots I've come across lately in the photography section have been taken by =
fiamen from Poland. In particular, the shades of greens and the colours of the skies and water (where included) have appealed to me for their magic touch, reminding me very much of some of the prettier parts of SW Ireland (a country with which I have much connection by ancestry on my father's side of the family). I also enjoy her sense of composition in many of her photos.
Anna Says
I started to be interested in photography, mostly in nature photography in my early teens and for many years I use to carry old Zenit camera first, next Minolta with me for all my trips and journeys. I just watched and shot, almost intuitively. Just see the frame I like. Now it's much easier - I can check the effect (and re-shoot

), but in the old days I had to wait for processing the film and prints.
What about techniques?
I mostly use Nikon d200 and Nikkor 180200 VR lenses, Black Hoya circular polarizer and grad grays filters (Coken)
Latest images were taken in two ways:

9-raw shot HDR, tone mapped in Photomatix, 4,5 EV difference from neutral to edge exposure.

one-raw shot also tonemapped in Photomatix

Also photos of planes from Air Picnic in Goraszka were processed in the same way.
I have to admit that they are my first approach to HDRs

and I am still learning

For now I'm so excited and fascinated by the HDR technique and try to use it where it's possible.

is a funny photo with a story, because it was taken... from the passenger seat in our car, when we drove trough the mists returning home from our holidays.
Here are some other photos from Anna's Gallery which also particularly appealed to me..

This is only a small selection, and I would urge you to go and take a look at her very varied pictures and add her to your
if you enjoy her work
I am putting this news article up here under this account because at the moment here are most of my watchers. However, it was via my
account that I came across Anna's work, and I have already featured her in my journal on that account.
Finally, I have carried out a series of interviews here, all of which are available as links from my journals - please click on
to see the full list.
Here is a stamp which I would be very pleased for anyone who has been interviewed by me to use in their journal or shoutboard...

Thank you
