`SparrowSong on writing, critique and her passions

^lovetodeviate:iconlovetodeviate: reports, September 28
An interview with writer, critic (critiquer?), lit senior, `SparrowSong. Here are some tidbits:

“I like that my passions change. If nothing else, it gives me more to write about.”

“Everyone has heard the expression, ‘Give a man a fish, he eats for a day; teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.’ If you don’t learn to critique, you will always be dependent on others to help you instead of being able to do it by yourself.”

“Art changes how we view the surface of the world to reveal truth or beauty—or both—underneath.”

Angsty Literature Club

*Matadi:iconMatadi: reports, October 3
Since there is not much we are afraid of in the days of speeding optic cables, no need to talk sincerely since we do wear the egoist, shiny mantle of a digital avatar, why there is still "love" the most search after word on dA? We do have the need to touch and be touched,to smile, not often even cry, we are thirsty of eachothers footsteps in the sacred place called emotion.Living to tell we are so fragile, living to tell we are so strong, living to tell...

Take a rest, from time to time, step back and look around you,
catch what you see in a word.
what will it be?

Three Fantasy Writers, Three Writing Futures

~worldhero21:iconworldhero21: reports, June 18
N’cha!! (or “hi” ) I’m ~worldhero21, who is representing my other two friends, ~Blaydrix and ~Fight-Master, in this article. The three of us are rather new to the site, even though I’ve been on longer than the two of them. Although we are far apart from each other in distances, we have grown acquainted and comfortable with each other on here through many interests, the most common one being fantasy writers/fans.

The reasons why I joined this site was one: all my friends from school were on here and I was the only one who didn’t have an account. And two: because I wanted critique and advice on my fantasy series that I’m currently writing. And those two people mentioned in the above paragraph are the only ones I’ve found so far who are writing in the same category as I am.

I’ve been writing mine since the 7th grade, and it’s my inspiration in my life. Ever since I’ve started writing it, my vocabulary has greatly improved, and my creativity has really gone far. My series is the only thing I daydream about, and I can’t live without it. I’m just hoping to finish and publish it before I finish college.

Just within the last month or so, I found two others on here who are also novices at writing fantasy. ~Blaydrix and ~Fight-Master are currently working on their own stories, and the three of us have really helped each other a lot on our stories. The problem is that we don’t have many readers who are reading and/or critiquing them. That’s the reason why I’ve written this. The three of us really want to improve our writing and become authors sometime in the future. This is why we are looking for help in our stories.

Stories:
Here are the basic summaries of our stories and the links to the rest of them:

PLEASE READ THEM!! We would greatly appreciate any critiques or advice!! For all you fantasy fans out there, I think you would really enjoy our stories!!
