There seem to be some very common misconceptions about Artistic Nude photos, whether it be the old "Evil Penis" quips or that any female nude is all about the "tits and vag". There also seems to be a misconception that nudity is about sex among some persons. This article is here to bust the myths and prove that good artistic nude isn't all about the nudity.

Myth 1 - It's All About the Genitals

Wrong. Artistic nude doesn't have to focus on the genitals to be artistic nude. In some shots, while the nudity is there, the presence of genitals does not take centre stage. As a matter personal opinion, I find these ones to be the better shots.

Myth 2 - Men and Women - It's All About Sex

Again, another misconception. There are some mazing shots out there that contain both males and females nude, with little or no sexual connotation. Some of the best I've found of this, are by ~vojkovsky

Myth 3 - Nudes Outdoors - It's All About Exhibitionism

The myth here is that people who do their nudes outdoors are usually adorned with a grin and are themselves streakers. This isn't the case. Outdoor nudes, like studio nudes are based in nudity for art, not nudity for nudity's sake.
