A
A - Antagonist - The villain of a story. Can be in many forms, a person, a vice, anything that causes issue for the Protagonist.
A - Ashcan - Publishers in house mock up of a new title.

B
B - Balloon - Speach ballons/ bubbles are where dialouge is contained to indicate who is speaking

C
c - Comic Board - a bristol board type paper with pale gridlines to indicate the trim, bleed and live areas for printing used by comic artists.
C - Comix - independent type of comics, non-mainstream (see
this article by =
Zorgia )

D
D - Digital Press - Digital printing methods to simulate offset printint. Used with small run independent printers.
D - Dangler - An unresolved plotline that the author has apparently forgotten about. One that hasn't been mentioned in a while and seems to be forgotten.
E
E - Elfquest - One of the most successful independent comic books of all time created by Richard and Wendy Pini.

F
F - Foxing - Small orange and brown spots found on the cover of comics over time.
G
G- Graphic Novel - A term coined by Will Eisner as a comic with High Quality story and artwork. More commonly used to refer to thicker perfect bound comics.
G - Golden Age - The period of comics beginning June, 1938 and ending in 1945.
H
H- Hellboy - is a fictional Dark Horse Comics character created by Mike Mignola, who first appeared in San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2 in 1993.

I
I - independent Comic Artists - artists who creates comics themselves or in a small team, usually self published or published by an independent comic publisher.
J
J - The Jaycee Pawman Squad - One of the many online comics found on *

K - Kitty Weaver - your Cartoons and Comics Gallery Directors moniker. ( ^

L
L - Letterer - The artist who applies the text in a comic.

M
M - Mainstream Comic Artist - Artist who works on a team in a large mainstream studio such as DC or Marvel.
N
N - Nothin' - Kitty's got nothing for the letter N. :B
O
O - Onomatopoeia - words that sound like what it is describing, like splat, slap, crack. Commonly used in comics.
P
P - Protagonist - The main good character in a story. Usually struggles with the antagonist.

Q
Q - Quarterly - A comics released 4 times a year.
R
R- Retcon - To retroactively change the continuity of a title or character
S
S- Silver Age - The period that begins in 1956 and ends in 1969.
T
T- Tier - Row of panel, from left to right, on a page.
U
U-Under guide - comic book that is priced less than the guide book price
V
V- Vanishing point - a term used when doing perspective. It's the point where people and objects vanish on the horizon line.

W
W- White Space - black and white comics are a delicate balance of values
X
X- X-over - A cross over, when a character visits another comic book. Like Batman going over to Supermans for tea.

Y- yet again - Yet again kitty's got nothin' :B

Z- ZOT, ZAP - Examples of Onomatopoeia's

N: Neat! Comic sketches should be tight and neat for the inker to render.
Y: Young: Comic books were typically thought of to be read by young adults/jouveniles. Now comics have been able to branch out to people of all ages. ;3

N - How about narrative? The way that the story is told, narrative devices (linear, non-linear, elipsis, flash back, flash forward, foreshadowing of events to come), etc. (To be expanded on of course, but just an idea?
Y - Could be Yearly? Like yearly annuals? And yummy
