Stunning Master Studies on deviantArt

=Dragonda:iconDragonda: reports, 21h 31m ago
In this article I'd like to feature some amazing Master Studies which caught my eye recently. I consider myself an appreciator of classic traditional art, and I have lots of respect and admiration for anyone who takes up the challenge to create a Master Study.

Most of the Master Studies on deviantArt are incredibly underappreciated, so with this feature I hope to give all of these brave artists a well-deserved place in the spotlights.

Enjoy this article! :)

Trans-Vietnamese Artbook Project

*Cadybrille:iconCadybrille: reports, July 9
Dear friends,
In the animated atmosphere of gradually growing Vietnamese comics in the year 2009, I feel so surprised and hopeful about our comics in the future. The reason is that many young artists appear and show off their talents - That is everyone's long-awaited pride. Along with GreenFarm, Manzin and the forthcoming Truyện Tranh Việt Online, Vietnamese comics is believed to be better and move to a higher phase.

Therefore, in order to warm up the air as well as to creat an interesting and realistic activity for all young artists, basing on the idea of Kaboom Ink on DeviantART, =Clap-san and I really hope to lauch a campaign:
Trans-Vietnam Artbook

I wish and believe that this artbook will be supported by all of you. Let’s show to the international friends the joy and unity of our Vietnamese-comics community! ^_^

Feel Feature

~TempestSummers:iconTempestSummers: reports, June 26, 2008
I've always felt that greatest thing a piece of art could do is evoke emotion in the viewer/reader. And over the three years I've been here at DeviantArt, I have spent time almost every day browsing and faving those who have evoked some emotion in me - whether it be humour, sympathy, sadness, joy, awe, etc. I've found these in a variety of styles in genre, in the gallerys of some of the most popular artists as well as in those that are unknown. They are the favourites of my favourites. Please give these artists some love.

Thank you for the feature.

Wow, these pieces really do evoke an emotion... this is wonderful; seems like a good interactive news article as well, because other people can share works that they think evoke emotion for them in their comments. :)

In particular, I was really wowed by *IMustBeDead's "Sweettooth-Black and White". :D

It gave me a much-needed grin on a very trying day. (Fear not, I've already :+fav:ed and commented accordingly.) ;)

There must be some place here that only you and I could go
So I can show you how I dream away everyday
Try so hard to disregard
The rhythm of the rain that drops
And coincides with the beating of my heart
