the so called "Artist Relations"

rome & myself would be ever greatful if you could take the time to read, understand & support this. i would like this to travel far and reach everyone it can.

this isnt propoganda, its factual and we need to speak up because no one else will. We arnt even disadvantaged by it, you are, so this is for you.


Since the begining of time the "Artist Relations Department" is always being 'redisgned' or 'renovated' but it proves a slow transition with little progress or anything to show for. Ever wonder why so many great artist whom hold amazing work dont have daily deviations? or miss out on the exposure that many other artist seem to get?

The answers are simple and it begins with the a lack of gallery directors and missing catagories. Lets take architecture for example, its one of the largest catagories in the photography section, but you can spend all day searching and find nearly no DD's for anyone who is based around architecture. However lets then take Street photography, you will find countless people with countless types of street photography and heaps of exposure because Directors like *Obsidian-Fox put in the effort to help deviants.


DAILY Deviation, yes DAILY, it would be great if it lived upto its name, you have people like *Kevlewis & *Shetakespics who feature 1 Deviation per 2 weeks (or more) and usualy its not a suggestion is just something they Personaly like, Animals plants & Nature a HUGE field of photography and yet amongst all the amazing work hardly any DD's. They might say its called a DD because its featured for 24hours, but thats arguable when many other Excellent directors put in the hard time to feature an artist DAILY.

rome and myself suggest very often, sometimes our suggestions dont ever get looked at, 2 months later still unread, now isnt that just great admin work, not even bothering to look at it.


I will cut it short here, if you understand this and want to help change things for the better of the community, by getting more suitable, active, supportive gallery directors, more catagories to account for all the deviants who miss out, please Fav this & let people know about it, leave your comments here and with the Artist Relations Admins.


I would however love to leave on a good note in regards to some of the few EXCELLENT gallery directors, who take suggestions and feature regularly and do a whole lot more, i wont name names but you can see them featuring each and everyday without fail.
