Wish you were subscribed on dA?

Wish you had a fella plushie watching over you as you submit your art to the greatest, biggest, baddest online art community on the planet?

....You love devWEAR but you don't have cash to get the hoodie, wicked t-shirt or hat that you want?

It's time to plot and execute a plan to make your dA dreams come true!

What to do?
Think about all the things that your mom would love to have done around the house, what makes her smile? Put your creativity to use and make her something that will work to your advantage..... a paper coupon book perhaps? Coupons redeemable for things like weeding the yard, helping to cook dinner or wash her car! Think of 10 things that you can include in her personal coupon book and start making her life easier so that you can have a happy mom AND get some cash out of her for the things on dA you adore. Probably best not to talk about the latter part up front, you need to ease her in to the process slowly and show her you care about her (and your life on dA will blossom!) I'm a mom, trust me, it would work for me. In fact, I hope my daughter reads this 'cause I need some shit done around here!

How to stretch the truth to your benefit...

1. Tell your mom you really function better on cookies. You need special cookies. The cookies are sold only on dA and she'll need to pay by credit card.
(toss in 3 more coupons for this one)Be sure to specify that the cookies come in 1 or 3 month OR 1 year supplies and let her choose what she feels is most economical. Tell her that you'll make it really easy and with her permission, you'll be happy to type the appropriate information in for a secure delivery of the goods.
2. You could also tell mom that you are looking to improve your social skills because she already knows that you are on the computer too damned much. Tell her that you plan to do that by learning proper etiquette in corresponding with other talented individuals that appreciate the finer things in life, like ART and ummm NEWS about world events and local happenings in your area that might actually get you out of the house! (devMEETS!) for one easy installment, you could be well on your way to a full blown, (no ads) interactive community experience. She's sure to appreciate your interest in bettering your social skills, aye??

3. Have a younger sibling? Offer to watch the little brat while your mom goes out to relax with her girlfriends, or perhaps to the spa. Tell her that you don't normally ask for payment (meaning she never pays you....) but you thought it might be a nice treat if she would pay you this once but tell her that you really really REALLY just want this awesome tshirt from your favorite website. Then tell her that you'll never ask for anything else for the rest of your life.
(we'll work on getting out of that one next time.)If you have more ideas to add to this, please feel free to post them here on this helpful article. Maybe you tried something else that already worked! let us know....
I just thought I'd help get you started.
