=Nuninh0 is one of the most active portuguese deviants in this community. He made a very long break on posting his photo works but he's back with a Daily Deviation. Those who know him, know he's very kind, respectful and he's always available to help you.



Q:Tell us, why such a long break? Was it easy for a general photographer to stop posting his work?

A:Well this is a forced break, i'm a teacher and a tutor and this year I got so many places to work that I simply got my free time very strict. The time I spend here on DeviantART is used to reply to comments and thank the 's and 's people give me, view the works of the people that i watch and to make the weekly journals promoting works and deviants! I could easily not do the journals, which take me a considerable time to make, and keep on submitting but i prefer to promote others. I hope that now i'll have more time and submit some new works, i'm on holidays in some places that i work and no, it's not easy, I really wish that I could have time to do all that I want.



Q:Most of your pictures are landscapes, waterscapes and also some animals and still life. Is Nature easier to photograph? Is it a personnal choice?


A:I don't think Nature is easy to photograph, i think both are hard and have their own technique but Nature can't run away when I point my camera! AhAh! Well, let's get this serious!
Sure is a personnal choice, it's one of the things i like most to photograph although I would like to do some different things. One problem that I have is that it's difficult to get models that want to be photographed or conciliate my time with other people to do sessions. Honestly, this year I didn't had much time to take photos so that makes it a little bit hard. But if you are reading this and want me to photograph you, send me a note .


Q:You were a long time deviant without a DD. What did you feel when you found out that one of your most recent pictures had become one? You think that it was a good suggestion?

A:Yes, I was a long time deviant without a DD and I used to joke with it because people used to say that i already deserved one. When I got it I felt really proud and happy, it felt like it was a recognition of my work and improvement through the years i've been on DeviantART and also felt like it was a recognition of my commitment with the community. I must say that it is my best photograph I submitted here so off course it was a good suggestion.



Q:Can you tell me some artist,or artists here on deviantART who you find as inspiring as you are?

A:My inspirations are many, they know who they are because I watch them, but since i can't name them all, i just name *AndyMumford, =Inebriantia, ^hellfirediva, *engridearty, =closer-to-heaven, =kkart, `foureyes , `gilad and probably i forgot someone



Q:What advice or tips would you give someone thinking about taking up nature photography?

A:You should try to learn all that you can, photography isn't just get a camera and shoot, search on the internet, there are plenty of sites with information about photography, techniques and tutorials which would help you a lot. Get a course on photography, or more if you have the money for them.
See other people's works, see how they did something, learn and get ideas for your works. Normally i get ideas on the place and on the moment but sometimes i have something in mind and search for it.
And, off course, take photos, a lot of photos, think about what you want, what are you doing and why are you doing it... and please, take photos with your !
