What is it about jellyfish that attracts people?
Why are we so interested in the way they move?
To me, jellyfish have always been beautiful creatures and the fact that I didnt know much about them intrigued me.
I love the abstract form they take while they drift and swim through the water. Although they can be deadly, they are so elegant and graceful.
For most people its a special occasion to see one of these gorgeous animals.
I imagine it is extremely hard to get a good shot considering most people only see them in zoos.
The following photographs captured jellyfish in an incredible way.

Some random jellyfish facts:
Most jellyfish live only two and a half months
Jellyfish can reproduce sexually and asexually depending on what part of the life cycle they are in.
The largest known jellyfish can reach a diameter of 8 feet (2.5 meters) and their tentacles can be half the length of a football field
It is said that jellyfish have been around more than 650 million years (before dinosaurs and sharks!)
