I asked our members here at *Photo--Assignment to do the same thing: look at some of your first images and some of your most recent images to see your learning curve and to share that with others here on DA. I think there is a lot to learn here and if your in a rut, maybe this is what you need to put the wind back in your sail.

Received a suggestion from the community to do a series of articles featuring works from various folks that may specialize in specfic genres of stock. Those included in this series provided input in my journal seeking feedback. Some people have a specific focus, while others have a mix of works in their galleries.
=XerStock's gallery has a mix of work including many that could be used in darker themed art. She started her gallery in August of 2007 and has 69 deviations.
=SunOwl has photography and stock in their gallery so I don't have a deviation count. This is another gallery that contains a wonderful mix of stock.
*steppelandstock has 467 deviations which include a little bit of everything. She began her account in March of 2008.
~ArtOfMusic-Stock has a collection of objects and textures. He started his account in June and has 40 deviations.
`Elandria started her gallery in July of 2004 and has over 400 deviations. Her focus is primarily model stock, but she also has some very useful tutorials.
