Hey everyone! I am so glad to announce that the Six Word Story Contest is complete and we are ready to announce the winners!!!! I was hoping to have this out sooner, but we wanted to add one more surprise for you and then deviantArt went into read-only mode ! I almost cried. *mode-de-vie just laughed at me... ... See if I do any more contests with her... ANYWAY! Here's a quick recap before the winners are announced.

This contest Started on June 5th and I really was not sure if it was going to do that well, but over all we received 129 completed deviations (listed below), and hundreds of faves on our news articles! I am so glad that you guys enjoyed doing this. Not meaning this in a mean way, but I think it is absolutely hilarious that as a whole, you all managed to violate every single rule except for the story has to be 6 words long. I'm kind of proud of you guys for it.

So as a nice little surprise at the end, *mode-de-vie and I have created Six Word Stories for you guys to see. Here are our stories.


I am trying to think if there is anything else I can stall telling the winners with... Well I guess all I have to say is thank you and please go out and comment on the winners' deviations. That reminds me. Both *mode-de-vie and I are passionate about commenting and making it something actually worth reading. As you might have noticed, we have commented on every single one of your deviations and tried to make it a completely unique message for each deviant. If you don't have a comment on your submission by Wednesday, note us and we will surely stop by and comment. It is important to each of our individual growths. PLEASE COMMENT! Comment on other entries to this contest, to other deviants. Comments can be much more valuable than faves. Make them worth their value, dA!
