So this contest is really special.
Read and participate if you are interested. You can participate in different ways.

Humanity needs us.
We all live together but there are differencies.
We were not born in the same place, we were not born with the same abilities, we were not born in the same society, in the same family, We did not all get the same opportunities.
We are not equal. We all need each other, we all need a hand, in different manners, different ways.

"An estimated 25.000 people die from an effect of hunger everyday. That's about One person every four seconds."


October 17, World Day to Overcome Extreme Poverty.
On October17, 1987 Joseph Wresinski made a speech in Paris - France. (read this speach at the end of this article).
In 1992 the United Nations recognized this day as the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.


This contest is made to fight against poverty.
We can all show our support, we can all lend a hand.
This contest is really special.
The prizes for the winners will be : FUNDS for a NGO (Non-Governementale Association) : CONCERN (You know this association from the White Band).

For this purpose we have created a Paypal Account, all the funds will be given to the Concern association.

You can be either a "solidarity donator" and/or a "prize(s) donator")!
Under you'll have all the infos.
And of course PARTICIPATE!

Rules :
1) Medias allowed : ALL medias are allowed!!!
2) 1 entry max per deviant!
3) The entry must be made for this contest only : In your description you must link to this contest & contest entries must have been made after the begining of this contest - april 17th!
4) No explicit porn nor hatred deviation!!
5) Your Entry must fit the theme (Explain us in your description how you deal with the solidarity concept in your creation!).
6) Your Entry must respect Copyrights Laws, dA Policies, Credits Agreements (if you use resources yours or not you SHOULD list where they come from even if they are yours to avoid confusion!).

HOW CAN I BE A SOLIDARITY DONATOR?

We need YOU! The goal of this project is to raise funds for the Association Concern.

What is Concern? :
If you have participated to the "Make Poverty History" Event (you maybe have the white band) you should know this association!
Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international, humanitarian organisation dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.
What Concern does :
Concern's mission is to help people living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives. Concern works with the poor themselves, and with local and international partners who share the organisation’s vision, to create just and peaceful societies where the poor can exercise their fundamental rights.
One of the best examples of this is Concern’s approach to tackling acute malnutrition through Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC), in partnership with Valid International.

When and How Concern will be paid?
Concern will be paid directly via their website donation page by me at the begining of november, in case we still get some donations after the contest end.
