Not a problem! I love this project. I had an uncle that passed away from AIDS complications back in 1992, so awareness is a subject that is dear to my heart!

When I was 4 years old, they tried to test my IQ. They showed me a picture of 3 oranges and a pear. They said "Which one is different? It does not belong."

They taught me "different" was wrong.

oh, give it some time.... remember, i have less than 400 pageviews, so it may take awhile to get the word out! send the link to some of your watchers, post it in your journal - you have some 15,000 views so i'm sure it will be seen soon!

I like this project and think it's a good idea. The thing is, we need to get virgo a featured article. That'll take a nice discussion board (I think I can put one together) I have no relatives with HIV/AIDS and do not personally know someone with HIV/AIDS but the truth is, condoms are useful regardless. Secondly, the other problem you have to deal with is American schools and their "Abstinence Only' program. They don't even teach about condoms anymore. Go figure. Anywho, let me know if you guys are interested in getting this more knowledge XD

absolutely! I don't have a subscription, so this news article was the best I could do.

I agree with the troube of "abstinence only" programs. I actually sent in a letter to the opinion column of our local paper when the topic came up in the area. It's ridiculous to try to teach ONLY abstinence when the youth of today are flooded with images of sexuality from the moment they are born. Let's wake up and face facts: we created this problem as a society, so let's at least give them a proper education about it!

There is a show you should seriously see called "Penn and Teller's Bullshit" Look up the episode on abstinence. I totally agree with them. Since you already have the news article. I would go ahead and copy/paste it into a forum thread. I would do more, but I don't have a subscription either.
