The new method the Color-Me-Club will be displaying artwork to its members. The steps to submitting line art, however, remains completely unchanged, so worry not line artists!

If you get one of these labels what you should is try to get rid of that label. That includes, laying low and trying to hard to not doing anything to provoke it. And, grow a thicker skin, even if it gets tough.
the worlds changed in the past year. earlier today Rage Against the Machine was confirmed as british xmas number one. but what other major changes have we seen this year? An analisis of (in my oppinion) the most noticable parts of the year worldwide
i perferd the odl version better.. i donlt liek the fact that you cna;t shoose wha you see in your dcomments any mroe.. i loved the odl way.. this way might be mroe exciteing anf full of flare btu it has lost my apeal and i am sure others feel the smae they are sjut to chicken to admit it.. afriad that admins or frinds of the adminds will block their things or somthign.. btu i want to eb honest i ahte absalutly hate the new way.. like my father iad to me if it ain't broke don't fix it thank you for listening i hope
i actually have one mroe thing to say.. i am pretty sure that DA did nto think or the dial up users becuase even with the highspeed i am finding thsat i am waiting.. it laggs like crazy.. i wish they would ask us the real poeple nto the bies they hire to tlel us that it is great.. i am sorry but the real people thinkyou should not have done this... there isareason why the journals and the messages and the news articles say they hate it... becuase they do the honest poeopl who are n't afriad must have avoice.. i will be ther voice.. i am politely saying this version fo da takes no concideration for the user at all it is made to lok flashy so that others will nto leave da for feacebook or myspace.. they are trying to be col whent ehy should sjut stick to bing functional.. don;t like my ranting then do not ask for an opinion.. p.s. i hate the lagg whaen i type... it is anooying tio have to sit and wiat for asentance or word tro apper or to erase said sentance and word.. the odl system was not as bad then they wnet o v5 which everyone hated and now this.. ask the people first take their idea into consideration after all is this nto a sight for them?
and the lagging oh my god the lagging!!! i feel sorry for my dial up frinds!!.. they have to wiat forever to do anyhting now!!!
wel for me I have noticed a bit of a slow down when the messaging page loads, the website it's self seems alot more busy (like 20 more things on the page now). Other than that I'm fine with the new look, but it is a little slower now
i've got highspeed internet so it isnt bothering me buuuut... it just seems alot more sleek, which im not as big a fan of >.> call me retro but i like my big-square-button '95 style DA XDDDDD.
i'll prolly get used to this tho ^^

I like the new layout of everything, but when I tried to upload a fanfic it wouldn't upload. I'm one of the dial up users, so maybe that has something to do with it. I think it's just dA working out the bugs. I'm sure after everything gets settled it will go back to normal. Or I hope so at least.

Sanity? What would I do with something as useless as that? Lucky for me, I never had such a thing.
I would like you to read my humble opinion on the topic. [link].
Also, if you watch closely, you will notice that the lag is not due to the new version of deviantART, but rather to server load. You can notice this from the number of connections that get reset of that don't get data if not refreshed. This is mostly a technical problem. Thank god, deviantART truly thumbnails deviations instead of making your browser resizing them, so the site is pretty bandwidth effective.
Of course, you can't expect an art-oriented site can be easy on your bandwidth.
Have a nice day.

i dont really mind the lagging that much on my computer, but my main form of internet usage is my PSP, and i cant check any of my messages on there, only my notes. im not complaining because i know deviantart wasnt designed for the PSP, but its still mildly frustrating when i see that i have 400 messages racking up over the course of a few days, and no way to do anything about them.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
