I was sitting here tonight and thinking that I wanted to speak about a few amazing and creative people here on DeviantArt. Kind of like a bit of a review of a few different artists who's art and characters and their odd quirks I have come to fall in love with. Now, I don't know any of the three people I am about to speak of personally, but I feel safe to say that they definitely have a wonderful personality and that if I wasn't so shy, I would make an effort to get to know them
Anyway, here they are:

,

and

. It's kind of odd how these three kind of came together in my mind, especially most recently.
~
Arai-Hime's art is absolutely delicious. She sketches out quite a number of pictures in which I always love to look at. She uses mainly digital media from what I've seen of her work, and her people are so very beautifully colored, and so lovely to look at. Most of her art leans towards yaoi or shounen-ai, and her scenes can be either sultry and seductive or more sweet and lovely. She is a constant source of entertainment, and I always wonder what's going to happen next to her wide variety of characters. I suppose that is what I like best about ~
Arai-Hime--dozens of characters all having their each unique personality that shows up in ever picture. How she captures this personality amazes me, and I always love reading what she writes, as sometimes she writes snippets of the scenes that she draws. I love those wacky characters and the messes they get into, and I love the personality that comes out in her artwork.
Next we have *
magic-8-ball I'm not actually sure if she should be mentioned, mainly because on one of her journals she mentioned how happy she was that she wasn't popular. But, I think she deserves a mention none-the-less. Besides catching and reporting art-theives by the dozen, she turns out dozens of beautiful pictures. She is a traditional artist, using, I believe, colored pencils and paint as a medium, preferring that over digital. And, she does a stunning job of it. I'm amazed every time I see her manage to get her people that beautifully colored without making hundreds of mistakes! It's really quite incredible. Her sense of style is also very unique, and I've come to love it very, very much. She draws a lot of nudes, sketches a lot of her wonderful characters and scenes from her head, some how managing to make both amazingly sweet and beautiful women and lusty men who have seen better times. How she manages to catch both ends of the spectrum is rather incredible, and I never see something I do not like in her art. And of course another mention needs to go to the characters' she portrays' well developed personality and her own personality coming through on every picture.
My final artist I would like to mention is ~
Snow-FireFlame. ~
Snow-FireFlame is a wonderful artist and very talented writer who mixes it up in what she draws with constantly. She uses both traditional and digital techniques in her artwork, more traditional than digital of recent it seems, though not by much. And her experiments in different techniques (whether it be digital paintings, traditional means, cell shading etc.) never look like experiments; they look like she has been doing them her whole life. What gets me most about her is her ability to draw brilliant pictures that show so much beauty, and then be able to add to it with her writing. I've fallen in love with two of her characters in particular, which are constantly coming up in her art. These characters are two in a story she is writing, and have very developed attitudes that show themselves in her art.
I've never written a news article before, but I felt that I really needed to shout out to these three, and really just thank them for all the art, the written work, the little snippets of personality, and of course letting us as viewers get to know them and their characters, through the things that they post. Thank you!
Note: I know that a lot of other people deserve this too, but these three were the ones who stood out in my mind the most. Also, I wrote about only people who do mainly drawn art; I did not pick out all the very deserving writers in the DA community, nor the photographers, and for that I apologize. I may write an article later on such things.
