DOLL BASESIt is very pleasing to see the increase in Doll Bases in the Doll Gallery and in an effort to encourage more of you to try to create your own bases, here are a few Tutorials which may help you.

I have tried to keep the choice of these tutorials as simple as possible. There are more Tutorials from which choose, in the Resources section under Tutorials.
I have created a skin tone palette which you are free to use, to develop your own group of colours.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONMost base makers have their own set of colours they have developed for themselves and it is regarded as highly unethical to use another persons colours or doll features such as eyes, nose, mouth, breasts and so forth. You need to be very aware not to rip from another artist. It is a small community and you will soon be found out and it will gain you no respect.
When creating your bases it is important to credit any reference material you may have used.
If you prefer to trace a base, it is essential to gain permission from the person whose work you are tracing and it is also imperative you mention in your artist notes that it is a traced base and please link to the source of the trace. You may risk being reported for art theft if you do not follow these simple and ethical steps.

SenshiStock has an excellent resource for body poses and should be applauded for making such a wonderful resource available.
NOTE
Any bases uploaded into Doll> PixelArt>Base need to be free of computer generated type or run the risk of them being moved to Doll>Miscellaneous>Base. A small hand laid copyright close or on the base is advisable. Terms of use can be clearly displayed in the Artist Comments.

It is advisable to mark your undressed base as 'mature content' as it displays nudity

So is it your journal we gotta link to and post in, or do we note you?
There was this dog,
He feared a fog
a fog dense and unknown.
But in that fog,
Behind a log,
There stood a shiny bone.

I have to sift trough heaps of manure just to comment this?!?!Quite honestly, if it is such a big deal, change our classification from customization-dolls-pixel shaded. (Which is the most common classification we use ourselves....)
