New Technology

After almost 3 weeks, the Tribes are getting wiser. They have learned the skill of retrieving traps they have set.

If you set a trap and afterwards decide that you want to get it back before it is successful, then you can type:

!retrieve username

The trap you have set for username will be retrieved.

Tips for Playing

• Traps set will disintegrate in 24 hours if they aren't successful - make sure you contact the person and get them to join #dATribes before it disintegrates.


• If you see that someone's trap has disintegrated, perhaps that's an opportunity to set a trap?


• You have nothing to lose by setting a trap, even if they go inactive for 5 days - You just lose the 10 points that you gained when they successfully joined. You're bound to gain daily points for them anyway, so keep trapping people!


• You can use the !trapped command to find out who you've successfully trapped so that you can keep in touch with them. Find a chatroom they enjoy being in and then they won't go inactive!


• Retrieving a trap holds some risk because if someone notices they can !trap them!
