@Comrade-Kelly [the piece] "s an abstract piece that tries to add an scientific element to the aura of the photograph. Although the background of the photograph is unfocused, the concentration is on the model's hand that tightly grips the sheets. Lyme Disease is an illness that can go undetected for years, leaving it's host with mysterious illness, aches, fatigue that can seem abnormal, but never seem serious enough to warrant a physical. And so the host waits, hopes, and struggles with a sudden deterioration of health--bedridden, waiting and hoping for the strangeness to pass. If the artist had taken time to fully explain the right side of the piece, understanding the piece fully would be easier, however, the right side seems to be as ~illeg4le says, "the strangers" or a magnified perspective of what lies beneath, inside the blood."
