Director of Artist Relations
& Assistant Director of Artist Relations 
The purpose of Artist Relations is to strengthen the community spirit as well as network with fellow artists so that we may bring outside opportunities to you, and help you to hone your skills. Contact the Gallery Director that best represents your art style and tell them your ideas. Need support for a contest? Advice on your artwork? Tips for how to get involved? Perhaps you have feedback for the administration. Artist Relations is your one stop shop for all of your Artistic needs. Gallery Directors are constantly giving your feedback and suggestions to us in an effort to make deviantART best represent the needs and wants of the community.

Anime Expo was a blast and you can read more about it in the Anime Expo Recap! Now we're heading to Siggraph 2008 and you'll be hearing more about that soon! Prints has launched a NEW PRODUCT It kicks butt! check it out. In case you're sleeping... we launched V6 and for the first time ever, I got to sleep the night we launched something. Are there bugs? Very few but there are some issues people are having and I urge you to utilize this journal to give feedback and use Help Desk to report any bugs you may find so we can address them! Other than that.. enjoy and check out the free v6 help here I am personally taking daily deviations suggestions for galleries that do not currently have a gallery director. Please remember to link the piece you want to suggest in the note you send me. This is an effort to keep things moving relatively smoothly and get exposure during this time of re-crafting the volunteer program within deviantART. While I appreciate the frustration that can come from waiting for things to complete, please know this is no easy task and I have to ensure that it's not only a better system for the community but a far more enjoyable and exciting system for the volunteers 
They rock and I like to keep them happy This week is Artistic Nude week for ^projecteducate, so strip off all your clothes (er.. maybe not) Ok maybe just check out ^projecteducate for the series of events for this week and get involved Information about prior and upcoming segments can also be found there! Two new categories have been created for your submitting pleasure. The first is Cosplay photography (photography -> people & portraits -> cosplay), which you can read about here and the second is deviantART Suggestions (deviantART related -> deviantART suggedstions) which is where you can post your mock-ups or text ideas for deviantART! We want to know - If you could change one thing about dA lit what would it be and why? Vote here ^Kitten-of-Woe is holding a Silent Auction which you can read about here. Bidding does not begin until July 21st so please hold your bids until then ^limnides wants you to check out tradART On The Streets... so go check it out! 
The Collection Collective is growing nicely!!! I'm setting up a schedule of features so get involved if you have a group! Please use the report violation buttons to report policy and copyright violations. There has been a steady increase in my notes from people reporting issues that should be going to the CEA team. It's not that I don't want to help you but I actually don't get to it faster and we need a written log of the actions we take so it really takes longer if you come to myself or $FallenRox first. On a side note, Siggraph is quite pricey, or maybe I just haven't been to enough conventions yet to actually know. I will be in the area, though, so I look forward to this.
