dA Scholarship Project (Is Back!)

reports, July 17, 2008Remember this? Well it's back. The ~dA-ScholarsProject account is finally up and running, and we are now able to keep track of our lovely supporters!
If you don't know what the dA Scholarship Project is, it's a little bitty idea that has sprouted into an itty bitty community project. Basically, we think it'd be nice for dA to award a scholarship to a very deserving deviant who plans on pursuing a degree in the arts. You know, like majoring in Creative writing, Art, Culinary Arts, Graphic Design, etc. If we raised more than that, maybe we could give out more than one. Right now it's still all up in the air.
It wouldn't be a random deviant picking, or a "who's the best artist/ who draws the best yaoi" type of thing, but rather a scholarship for someone who really wants and needs it. There aren't a lot of Art Major scholarships out there, and we'd really like to see this take off, and hopefully get backed by the dA administration, but in order for that to happen, we need the backing of the dA members.
There's a lot you can do to help get this thing up and going.

-Plan to Donate
...or something of that nature. Any help/feedback we can get would be greatly appreciated.
