Free V6 Help

reports, July 11Okay so if you haven't noticed V6 was launched late last night/early morning (depending on your time zone) to mixed reviews.
We as admins have had a little more time with it than the rest of the masses and as such I thought I would volunteer my knowledge with whomever is interested. Rather than complain that everything is different perhaps I can help show you how much more user friendly and easier the site is to navigate.
So... if you have a question concerning V6 please ask it. If you know of someone who is having troubles, please link them here. I will be updating this journal with your questions and hopefully answers to said questions.

Have you ever wanted to sort by oldest first in your message center? With the new message center you now have the ability to sort by oldest first. At the top of each section in your message center on the right hand side you will see a switch to oldest button (it has a series of lines with a down arrow). Upon clicking this you can now view your oldest messages first. If you wish to switch back to newest first you can select the button again. This can make going through your messages much easier especially if you get numerous messages a day.

Well, we'd like to manage the list of all the people we're watching, but we can't find the "manage friends" screen anymore! What gives!
Ah yes, the links to this page have been moved with the introduction of the new Version 6 message centre. But never fear! It's been made more handy and useful than ever!
Simply look at the top right of any page, and find the "Friends" menu. It's right next to the one that says "Collect". Click the "Friends" button to see a list of everyone you're watching: at the bottom of this little window you'll see another button that says "Add/Remove". Click that, and you'll be taken to the Friends List page where you can manage everyone just like you always used to be able to. Spiffy, huh?

You can also find your management page by clicking on 'More', followed by 'Account Tools' and lastly by clicking on "My Friends".
