Skies of Arcadia is an epic and enchanting rpg video game, which has touched the hearts and minds of many. It was released originally on the Sega Dreamcast, and the port version, 'Skies of Arcadia: Legends' was released on Gamecube.


Contest Theme
There will be no theme! Draw whatever you fancy, as long as it’s SOA related. Your entry must have been created after 19th July 08 (now lets not be lazy ). You must be a member of deviantart to enter. To submit an entry, send the club a note:

with a link to your entry (which you need to have uploaded to your devart gallery). You may submit up to 2 entries for this contest.

Contest no-nos
-No made up characters please
-No pornography/hentai ( keep it clean )


Ideas??
Like I said, you can do whatever you want, for example:

- a picture of a character(s),
- an event in the story (or that you could imagine happening in the story),
- drawings of the ships,
- paintings of one of the locations in the game.

You could even, if you like, submit a sequential artwork/comic strip (but no longer than one page please.)

Judging
The entries will judged by me, *xlouisax. I will be open-minded and fair with all entries and will also be discussing the entries with various people in order to decide who will be awarded 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.

The entries will be judged individually. Your entrie(s) will not be judged by your current level of skill, but by the effort put into the submition, the imagination involved, effectiveness of technique, and by other artistic principles.

Entries will also be judged by category. For example, if you were to submit a portrait of a character, it will be rated by how well the artist has captured the character’s personality. This does not mean that you must draw the characters in an anime style, you can draw with whatever style you wish.

2nd place - a 3 month deviantart subscription

3rd place - a 3 month deviantart subscription

And of course, ALL entries will be automatically submitted to the club member’s submissions journal, and for the duration of the contest will be featured on *SoAfans's front page (right after you’ve submitted it of course!) so it might be a good idea to join *SoAfans.

Deadline
Saturday 30th August 2008, which gives you 6 weeks. The deadline may be extended if not enough entries have been submitted.
