NOW, COME ONE, COME ALL! TO THIS TRAGIC AFFAIR!!!!

Tell all your friends! July 23rd is National My Chemical Romance Day! And what can we, the fans who love and appreciate them so much, do to prepare for this? They've saved our lives, they've gotten us through the lowest times, they make us rock out and what CAN we do? How can we thank Gerard, Mikey, Ray, Frank, and Bob for everything?

Introducing: The MCR Day Tribute! And we need everyone to get in on this!

What we need from you:

Simply? Create a deviation. It can be digital, traditional, whatever. Express yourself, artistically, (it's what we're all here for anyway) as to why you love My Chemical Romance so much.

What needs to be on it?

~Your name (real, dA name or both, it doesn't matter)
~A picture representing you (drawn or a real photo) showing your MCR love, whether you're sporting your best Helena or Black Parade ensemble
~Your expression. This is the cool part because basically, anything goes. You want to list your favorite songs from each album? Go on! You want to write a loving thank you to each one? Do it! You want to make a collage? Please! Get creative! I want to see what you can do!

How can I get involved?

~Send me a note or reply to this journal telling me that you're going to do something. Once you're finished, send me a link with the finished deviation. I want to display everyone's work involved and I'll edit this journal with links.
~Link this journal to YOUR journal so we can get the word out. Remember, the more of us who do this, the cooler the project will be!
~Just get to work! You don't have to be on my friends list or even know me (although I love meeting new people!) to do this project! Any MCR fan is a friend of mine and we are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! SO LET'S MARCH TOGETHER TO SHOW OUR LOVE!

When is MCR day again? July 23rd. But since I think this is an awesome project, we I'll probably go past it just to see how many people we can get involved!

Also...

Since there's been such a wonderful response to this project, I've decided to take the next step. Send as many in as you want, but I think I'm going to extend this until partway through August and then I'm going to put it together in a binder, protect it in some way, add your deviation descriptions, and send it to My Chemical Romance. They're all so wonderful and I would hate it if they didn't see the wonderful things we've said about them! Now, if anyone would want to send their REAL deviation in (you're more than welcome to if you want!), just note me and you can send it to me personally to add to the binder.
