On Friday, "The Dark Night", the second Batman flick with Christian Bale as
Bruce Wayne/Batman. Out of all of DC's heros, Batman is one of the best because of his conflicted character in a town that is corrupt. This movie was awesome, and totally deserves an award. The acting in it was amazing, Heath Ledger, may his sould rest in peace, did the most outstanding act of the Joker I have ever seen. No more is the Joker a big farce of a villain, he makes you want to see his character more for his twisted humor of the situation at hand, but also makes you dread him, because you're afraid of what he's going to do next. Even if you didn't see the first Batman movie with Christian Bale, or don't like Batman, you will want to see this movie.
After what happened in the recent "Superman Returns" movie, which was very bad for how they portrayed Lex Luther, you want to see this. I personally think that it's better than the first one, which is completely hard for a sequel to do. The dark nature of the film establishes the role of Batman the bad-ass and why Gothem hates him. It pulls together so well, and you shouldn't even bother sitting on your seat really, because you only really need the edge. It seemed to run a bit long, so use the bathroom before you leave the house and before you enter the theater. And you might want the small soda and popcorn.
It was great for its story line, the whole cinematic feel of it, the connection to the characters, and its philosophy and darkness to it. You cringe when you hear the men getting shot, you want to cry at the end, and you feel the pain that the actors beautifully portray. Heath Ledger was really the star of the film, and its almost a tribute to him. Do they give out Oscars to dead people, 'cuz he really deserves a few! All in all, this was an amazing change in superhero movies, which usually bring an uplifting feel when its done. If you see a movie sometime this weekend, you have to see "The Dark Night".

There may be no 'I' in team, but there's a 'me', oh and there is no 'you'
