Show Them You Love Them Contest - UPDATES

The "Show Them You Love Them contest" is to benefit and raise awareness for the abused and unwanted animals you find in shelters worldwide. We are trying to help show the DA community the love that we pet owners have for our animals, and the pain and desolation of those lonely few who roam the streets without love and affection. This contest is open to everyone, whether you have an animal or not, and has two divisions: Amateur and Professional. Though it is photography (petography to be more specific) only! The Grand Prize is a 3 year subscription, monetary donations to humane societies within North America, a free print, 3 news articles and nearly 40 journal features!

This contest has received a fantastic amount of acclaim and has been sponsored by multiple clubs within the DA community! Please love this article if you support this contest and help spread the word by advertising in your journal! Even if you only get 3 or 4 page views per day, it can still make a difference in this contest!

:bulletyellow:State the name of the Book, Manga, Comic, Anime, etc., that the scene is from in your entry description.

:bulletyellow:You are allowed to dress my OC however you want, be it the clothes from the original character in the scene you chose, or something you made up. (please don't change hair color or skin color of my character)

:bulletyellow:DO NOT TRACE! Only use the scene as reference. You can position the characters in the same position as the original characters, but please don't directly copy the original.

This is a DA-wide Poetry & Prose Contest!

This is the first official ~Lit-Lovers prose and poetry contest and guess what...its open to absolutely everyone! :D

Rules:

[1]Anyone can enter!

[2]The closing date for the contest is the 31st of August 2008, any entries received after this time will not be entered into the contest.

[3]You must send your entries via note to me with Contest entry in the subject line and they must be specially written for the contest and not in deviation format.

[4]Prose entries can be a maximum of 250 words long and poetry any length.

[5]Its one entry only per person and the entry can be about absolutely anything!

1st prize will be:
