Great Equine-Manip Resources

reports, July 21, 2008These are tutorials and brushes I've found useful in my manips, the best I could find on dA (though I probably forgot some; there are so many!). So here we go!
note: These aren't necessarily just for Equine Manips, but I've found them extremely useful in mine and you probably will too!
-----Extraction & Removal-----
Getting your horse off its background, and taking off its tack.
Related Resources:
- Tut on layer masks. I use layer masks with the pen tool when extracting my horses.
-----Smudging-----
Both body and mane/tail smudging.
- Wonderful, but it's dutch. I think you can get the gist from the images, or you can translate it.

^ The only brushes I use to smudge, unless I need single strands or huge blobs (in which case I use the default brushes).
-----Digital Painting-----
Painting manes, tails, horns, and more.
-----Enhancements-----
Anything and everything to enhance and beautify your image.
