This is a monthly series where deviants send in a maximum of five(5) thumbs of works they feel should have more attention, regardless of the stats the works or the artists have garnered over their time here; the suggester makes his or her own definition of "unknown". Each suggester,is encouraged to write a short reason of why they the suggest the pieces. Suggesters are not limited to any gallery.
If you wish to suggest or have questions please send me a note titled "Let Unknown Be Known" or "LUBK".

The SEPTEMBER issue of LUBK will be reserved for Literature. If you wish to suggest for this issue please make the subject of your note- "LUBK Sep"
Let These Be Known

Bostwickenator has amazing photos og all different types of things.

~
Jeshi-Weshi has beautiful photographs with wonderful perspectives.

*
on-the-loose shows us what a wonderful world we live in.

=
vastblue From plants to Architecture, the contrast is amazing.

~
Silverleaf91 Has something going on here, it's alluring, makes you want to look at it.

~
felixlu's candid photography always holds a story some how. It's always beautiful and always feels as if there is a hidden, obvious, ironic, sarcastic, emotional, or dream like quality.

~
Fairie-Floss-Soul's work is always so unique and original. Their style is all their own. They use dark scribbles, and dark ink, and bright colored areas to enunciate details. You can feel the story behind each work. Each portrays a sense of fantasy, yet is obviously reality; each one holds a dream like quality.

It was so hard just to choose one of ~
anttek's work. All of their photos are absolutely amazing. The photo manipulation is used so perfectly. Whether it is just adding text, or fading the sky, or burring the image, or adding some color to the world...the emotion, captured in the moment never ceases to grab hold of me, hit me like a brick wall, and knock the wind out of me

~
dabean's work is always beautiful, but their watercolors always amaze me. The colors, the innocence, the casual feel to it that you know took time and patience to create. It is these qualities that make this so amazing.

~
diebitch4eva's work is almost always in pencil, but its always so detailed, so beautiful. By skimming their gallery you can see the art improve, form, take shape, and come to life. This is what dA is all about; the average artist slowing working, struggling, and focusing their talent.

It may not have won, but it should have. If your a fan of Anime =
The-Max-Factor is one to watch.

An idea you all need to read about.

Argg its so annoying to see stamps that are the wrong size, don't have teeth etc.
Come one people if your gunna make a stamp make it right

its not easy to do Cross stitches, what a lovely gift for a lovely admin. Job well done.

I'm sure so many of you can relate to Lynn lets give her a hug

I love this deviation. It got some favorites, some comments, and a little over 200 views, but I think it's beautiful and needs more attention.

"Creativity"
[PurpelBlur says: A good read.]

mykeamend is an amazing artist. His gallery has many great pieces. He works traditionally and digitally (in various sub-categories) and definitely deserves more views.

~
judgefang is another talented artist that I'm surprised doesn't get more views. I'm extremely surprised, actually. Several of his pieces are rather popular, but then his pageview count is quite low.

~
AmoriDais has some lovely digital pieces that hardly look digital at all.

=
ignition-chemistry has some very interesting photomanipulations.

~
Letinha has several gorgeous photos with under 50 views and also some rather funny pictures of women on the beach. Check her out!

The first image is by me. In my opinion, it's one of the best pictures I have in my gallery, yet it's so unknown to the vast majority of the visitors as the thumb itself doesn't look too interresting.

The second image by dear Erika. There are a lot of feelings in the picture and they get channeled pretty well to the one looking at it

This photo by Ricky was one of the reasons I took on photography as a hobby. 'nuff said.

The bokeh on this photo coupled with the colours on the forground gives off a mysterious, almost abstract feel to it. One of my favourite photos on deviantart. (Even more amazing is the fact that it was composed, shot and uploaded in the small timeframe of 20 minutes.)

Amazing photo by Susanna which defiantly deserves some more attention.

Mine:

I feel that I deserve to be more "known" because I put a lot of time, and effort, into what I do, and I am extremely passionate, about every bit of it.

And my friend's =
Himerori:

I have known her for about 6 years or so, and throughout the entire time I have known her, she has always been so in love with art, and works so hard, on every single one of her pieces. She is so, incredibly talented.
If anyone deserves to be known, it's her.
A big thanks to all Suggesters!
Until next time, rock.
