We all know that we have a massive amount of talent on this site. We see proof of it everyday as we make our rounds throughout the caverns of all the hallways here on deviantART.

We have artists that earn a living with their work, we see up and coming artists that perfect more of their craft each time we watch them upload something new. We find mentors that share their experiences and techniques with the rest of the community that help us to expand our own artistic horizons. We have tutorial masters, models, stock and resource artists, film makers, traditional artists, photographers and on and on….. dA is a great place to be, no doubt but you already know that, so what’s the purpose of this article? I’m tooting our horn, of course.

A few months ago, we were asked to give our input to the popular and well-known magazine, Advanced Photoshop Magazine, on how we see our resources community and to give a little more info about our community regarding this specialty area. Since I’m a photomanipulation artist at heart, I felt like I had a handle on the community at large and tossed back some answers that ended up in the last issue of the magazine. I ordered it, naturally, and as I was going through this beautiful mag of wows, I noticed that our artists are ALL OVER the place in this magazine.
I wasn’t even sure the magazine came out with our info in it for resources but was informed by `pendlestock that it had and was thrilled to see the features. I’ve clipped some of the highlights for you to peruse and wanted to provide a link to the place to buy it if you’re so inclined. There are a ton of cool things to learn in this magazine with lots of tips and tricks, including a handy CD of goodies for texture and brush addicts. Advanced PS MAG (issue 45)
