Any My Chemical Romance fan will tell you that the five guys from New Jersey (technically four from NJ; one from Chicago!) are as down to earth as they get. They're doing what they love and all of it is for the fans. Seven years ago, the group came together and seven years later, they're still going strong, creating music that not only is different, but captivating. Fan or not, it's hard to deny that these men have made an impact on today's music.

In 2002, they're first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, was released and thus began the romantic affair of MCR and their music. It's the actual release day, July 23rd, to which we celebrate the journey of those five men in their seven tumultulous years. It is a day when every MCR fan all across the world can celebrate, obsess and share more than they usually do.

To all the Vampires and Demolition Lovers
To all the Helena's and Black Mariahs
To all the Piggies, Patients and Paraders
To the Broken, the Beaten and the Damned
To all the soldiers in the MCRmy who are defiant till the end

To celebrate this day, we have put together this news article stuffed full of features, celebratory activities, and lots of fun. In prepartation of IMCRD, ~miss-lucy-harris pulled together a group of fans to express their admiration for the band in any way, shape or form. The results were astounding!

What can we do to celebrate IMCRD? Here are just a few of some fun activities you can do:

--Listen to nothing but MCR all day long. Put it on repeat and rock out!

--Create tons of MCR inspired art and post it on your dA gallery.

--Drop by the MCR forums, chat with other fans, swap concert stories.
