Green is one of the three primary colours of light (along with red and blue). All objects reflect different amounts of these three colours, and different combinations make different colours.

Green also falls in the middle of the visible spectrum (red has the longest wavelength and blue has the shortest). Therefore, you might say that green is the most 'normal' colour, as its wavelength is neither high nor low.
