Alright. Let me start out this issue with my deepest apologies for not getting this one released to you at all within the month of June 2008 like I should well have. ! I spent all of that time last month working on my own original mature-based contest entry for the Forbidden Love competition presented by *emmil on dA (you can see my official artwork entry indeed to show you just what I mean here: [link]) as a way of stepping up my own artwork quality, and I was supposed to make some important time get this article thing written and ready for you sooner. For the Digital Art category, there are just so many sub-categories within this main genre of art (which includes Drawings/Paintings, Vector Art, Fractal Art, Photomanipulations, 3d, and Mixed Media as well!), but since I am doubling the length of this issue here, I have AN ASTOUNDING 16 AWARDS to proudly present this month to SIXTEEN (16) amazingly deserving and extremely well-gifted artists for this category alone, so strap in for the ride of your life this month, you splendid people, you!!!

In the Drawings/Paintings arena from within the main Digital Art category, this next Featured Artist of the Month award here goes to such an awesome man named:

For the Manga/Anime category, I have two (2) awards to give away in this special double-issue, starting with such an outstanding person who just knows how to master the cunning and clever art of such stupendously superb and most captivating anime artworks like it is one’s own life-giving passion to inspire even the most stunningly truest manga/anime artist in us all, and that very person indeed is:

For the Cartoon & Comics category on dA, this next artist has actually dazzled me and blew my mind away with such INCREDIBLE white-knuckle comic designs which are the serious earmarks of such a sheer bona-fide master art designer where this very category is concerned indeed, and he is:

...and just look at some of his top-class works that he has rather excellently designed:



...and also, did I mention that he even creates so many comic pages like these for such BIG guns in the comic-book business as Marvel, Top Cow, Zenescope, and numbers of others? And now, it’s on to our next category for these awards which is called Pixel Art, where this time, I give an impressive three (3) awards to three ever-magnificent artists whose pixel-perfect works are on the sheer top-of-the-line caliber when it comes to absolute quality of which the works here are to be created in the first place, so let’s get started!!! !

First off, this pixel artist has TOTALLY amazed us with the way he places and lays such individual solid-colored pixels to create such spectactular-looking ships and scenes in as few colors as possible, right down to the style of classic 16-bit shmups (or shoot ‘em ups, ala Galaga, Gradius, Truxton, or even the DoDonPachi series, for example!)... and nothing pleases me more than to give this next award to:

I am sure you will agree that ~Squirrelsquid is definitely the one to watch for when it comes to pixel-art inspirations on dA, and no doubt we will be seeing a lot more of him and his amazing-quality prowess indeed... fantastic job from him!!!



This second pixel artist here is *truly* one of my all-time favorite ones on deviantART, especially for his own OUTSTANDING creations of such impressive 8-bit NES-based caliber and even to the likes of the ol’ Amstrad CPC computer system as well, all in the way that he knows how to rock this damn joint up indeed!!! And that person here I am simply talking about is:

And it is rather a truest honor that I hand him this special Featured Artist of the Month award to commemorate such fantastic work like the ones he certainly has created... give him a big-time rousing round of applause!!!! !!

And finally in this double-issue, we again come to a totally special category exclusively for this event entitled the Special Recognition award, where from time to time as my new and future issues here go on month after month, I will pay such gloriously and marvellously highest honors to one rather special person who tremendously captures us again and again with something that is just PLAIN positive, fresh, and utterly creative and inspiring to this whole entire deviantART community at large... from the overall amazing artwork quality all the way to the outstanding support and feedback!! Thus, that person will be awarded as Featured Artist of the Month for this special reason!!!

Well since I am feeling quite excited in that since this is a special double-issue indeed, be really happy to note that I got THREE (3) AWARDS to give away to three rather special and amazing people indeed!!!

Let us begin. !

First off, from rather the bottom of my deepest and most beautifully passionate heart, I pay such utterly special tribute to an absolutely most stupendously outstanding 3d Gallery Director at deviantART who is always ready and willing to give people and even such aspiring 3d artwork newcomers such exceptionally superb support in showing them the road to such purest and untapped excellence in the 3-dimensional realm, whether your program tool of the trade happens to be Poser, Bryce, Vue, Cinema4D, or any other kind of tool like that that can help you do the job well!!! Plus, she has her own wonderfully vampiric club on dA in which she has quite brilliantly assembled her vast Vampyre Army (you can check out her official club page here: [link]), and she also gives out such magnificent and truly well-deserving Daily Deviation wins day after day to such special and awe-striking 3d artworks that inspire and capture us most brilliantly both in their own amazing art quality and also in their splendidly masterful meanings as well, in which you can see all of her personal DD selections right here: [link]

Come on now, who the very hell can forget such a phenomenally great guy like `Wen-M, huh!? And last, but FLAT-OUT not least at all, comes this final award of this June/July 2008 issue... and this final award indeed goes to the third and extraordinarily special person on dA whose name is none other than:

...who has just utterly shaken this whole art community by storm with this UNFORGETTABLY beyond-spectactular piece of emote-based work that he has so thoroughly created within just three days time entitled “Guitar-Emote-Hero revamp”:



...which has made rather a STAGGERING RECORD of well over 100,000 views, 6,000+ downloads, and over 20,000 faves ( ), all in just less than a month since he has first presented it to us on July 4, 2008, and was also been successfully crowned on July 7, 2008 with a one of the biggest Daily Deviation wins ever in the history of deviantART... that watershed achievement alone has earned my utterly phenomenal man =CookiemagiK this shiny-new Featured Artist of the Month Special Recognition award, and here are some of his other emote-based artworks that are just plain fricking FANTASTIC to watch:
