reports, August 9, 2001ACM SIGGRAPH, over 300 exhibitors of the world's leading software, hardware, and services for computer graphics and interactive techniques.
This year SIGGRAPH has returned to Los Angeles after a trip to New Orleans last year. 300 exhibitors, ranging from the likes of Industrial Light and Magic to Intel, Silicon Graphics to NewTek, all showcasing the newest technologies for computer graphics and multimedia.
I'm so hyped to be going again this year, I spent all 3 days 2 years ago, just taking in the sites, getting free crap, and talking with people who work at some of the greatest companies in the world (ILM, Disney, Kinetix). Hope to see some of you deviants there.

I went to last years in New Orleans and it was great. I had never been before and it was befor I was really in to any of this. I won a waycom tablet there though. It was really cool, I highly recommend everyone go. Unfortunitly I can't go this year, no money and it's slightly to far. Oh well maybe next year.

i went to SIGGRAPH when it was in new orleans last year, needless to say, it was incredible! Especially the art gallery where artists combined high-high state of the art technologies in their pieces. And there was so much to do! Hundreds of booths - i don't think there was any way that any one person could have gone to every single booth in the few days that it was here. HUGE. I suggest all go to it who can. It's worth the trip!
Developing Technologies was incredible.
