"You won't be leaving my arms...ever, I promise you that. Even if you want me to let go, honey."----
For the next couple weeks I'm going to be putting all my extra time and energy drinks into this project.
What is it for? I want to do something to show Craig Owens, the lead singer of Chiodos, who recently attempted suicide that there's people who really care about him, especially when he needs us the most.
Read about Craig, and his statements ont he events here:
[link]What is it? The project is going to be a scrapbook of sorts. I hope to collect as many statments from fans and people who want to show their support as possible and put it all together in a scrapbook with pictures of the band over the past years.
What this is all really about is showing Craig we care, we want him to get better, and we support him even if the going gets rough. What you can do to Participate:
- Send me a note with a well wish for Craig that'll go in the scrapbook. You can add your name, a nickname, or ask to be anonymous.
- If you have any pictures of the band you took at a show or just with the band and you want them included in the book, you can send them to me via. e-mail.
- And of course, spread the word. If you know anyone who's a fan of Chiodos or just anyone who might want to participate, tell them about the project.
Some ideas for what you might send me to be included in the scrapbook are: well wishes, concert pictures, your favorite Chiodos song, maybe a drawing or manip., or a story you have about meeting the band or Craig, or even just your nickname as a little token of support if you dont really know the band that well.
When the whole thing is all done and put together I'll share it with you all, and I hope that with the Street Team we'll be able to get it to Craig, and
show him that he has the best fans in the world!------
