A feature of some of my favourite Asian Ball Jointed Doll photographs.

Asian ball jointed dolls (sometimes referred to as dollfies) are made of polyurethane resin, and are held together with a series of elastics. One thing that makes them so popular with doll collectors and owners is how customisable they can be. Their hair is not plugged which means that they wear wigs, and the eyes are easily changed, by opening the headcap. Their faces may be ordered without a faceup, and allows the owner to paint it the way they want. Their entire bodies can be taken apart as the joints them selves are only held together because of the elastics, which means they can be posed in almost any position.
