for deviantART's 8th birthday, the fetish portraits gallery will run a sin-themed contest that focuses on YOUR guilty pleasures.

The concept:

The theme is fairly simple. We're all familiar with the 7 Deadly Sins. Now is your chance to dream up your personal 8th for the list. Depict your guilty pleasures in a fetish-themed PORTRAIT photograph and submit it to deviantART for a chance at a slew of prizes.

Be creative! Your imagination is the limit. This is about your guilty pleasures. Think outside the traditionally cited 7 sins and conjure up a sexy portrait that conveys your point of view as an artist.

The rules:

*1 entry per person

*No deviations submitted before August 7th are eligible

*Photography only!

*PORTRAITS only--must be human subjects (something that would normally be suited for the fetish portraits gallery)

*Must be submitted to contests & projects -> contests -> 2008 -> deviantART 8th Birthday -> Guilty Pleasure - the 8th Sin

*models MUST be over 18 years of age (something that would normally be suited for the fetish portraits gallery conforms to this dA policy)

The prizes!

1st place: fella plushie, 1 year subscription or premium prints account

2nd place: fella plushie or t shirt of choice + 6 month sub

3rd place: lanyard or keychain, 3 month sub


The contests runs 1 month: from August 7th to September 7th, midnight EST. The contest gallery will not open until August 7, 2008 and any entries not submitted to the gallery indicated in this article will not be counted.
