dA Loving Day is on August 9th!
dA Loving Day is a symbolic day during which we show what we can make to help a person.
That can be made in various ways and not only on dA but in daily life. To help a person to cross the street or to help financially or voluntarily a cause… That can be a smile, a given shoulder, a helping hand; the important is to be here for the person who needs it.
Here is the spirit of this day!
To learn more about this event and all the projects see HERE! C h a l l e n g e You certainely have cards in one of your drawers, at least papers and envelops. Take them. Sit down. Just write : "i'm thinking of you" and add some personal words you think they suit the person.
Sign with your name. Take the envelop, write down the name and address of the person. Put a stamp. Put the card or letter in it. Close the envelop (you can also add some of your artworks).
Repeat this at least 10 times for other people. (They can be kids from an orphanage, persons in an old people's home...).
Now the worst part. Take all your envelops. your bag, a bit of money and RUN to the post office... Quickly before it close!
