For the Love of dA!

This contest has been created in appreciation of the deviantART community and the generous efforts taken to raise awareness of global issues at hand (such as breast cancer, AIDS, lyme disease...) and organized for dA Loving Day 2008

Introduction:

Have a fuzzy warm spot in your heart for deviantART? Are you deviously in love with Fella?

Well For the Love of dA!, organized for dA Loving Day, supports your feelings for this incredible art site, be it a fetish or a fad! Since 2000, deviantART has not only been an art site dedicated to showcasing members’ art, but also a very large community supporting each other throughout the past 8 years. We watched it grow from a collection of skinners, to the largest art site showcasing every type of art from visual genres, such as photography and traditional art, and written forms, such as literature. With all of these features, dA may render an arousing feeling in its members - all we ask of you is to show these feelings in a piece of art!

Theme:

As mentioned above, the theme of this contest will be your enthusiasm for dA! We want you to create a piece of artwork, in any art form, that portrays your feelings for this site. Be it a plushie Fella celebrating dA Loving Day! or an ode to dA the great. You decide! Anything you want! But just remember, you will be judged on how well you show-off your feelings, so try to make it as relevant as possible!

Rules:

Your entry must have written in its description that: “I give permission for all Mods in the "dA Loving Day 2008" Community Project to use image for this event only”.
Entries must be submitted into For The Love of dA!’s specific subfolder located at Community Projects > Events > Projects & Clubs > dA Loving Day 2008 > For the Love of dA! Entries submitted by note or by comment but not located in this subfolder will not be considered in the judging process.
If submitting a photomanipulation or an artwork that has used any resource(s) while being created, even if they belong to you, you must credit the stock provider even if they have not specified he/she had to be credited.
Entries must be made and submitted within the deadlines (see below).
Please mention what form of art you used to create your entry in your entry's description.
Even though it is open submission you must comply by the theme.
You may submit an unlimited amount of entries, but you will only place once.
Entries containing mature content cannot be considered, we are sorry.
Although it is not necessary, we ask you to support dA Loving Day with this stamp: in your journal or elsewhere to spread the word of this annual project. But as mentioned before, it is not required.
