And here's the second part of the series! Hope you liked the first one so far, even if, of course, not everybody can agree with what I consider "unusual" when it comes to anime art.

Quick explanation - most people think of random adorable girls with huge eyes and shiny stuff (dodge tool, anyone?) when they hear "anime". But does that mean ALL anime artists here on dA draw like that? Certainly not. If you know someone who, in your opinion, deserves to be featured because s/he draws anime-styled pictures with an actual meaning, feel free to send me a note.



*Hisietari is definitely not your average anime artist - while she does draw chibis, both these and her other pictures were drawn with so much effort and thought that her works are definitely worth looking at. I'd especially recommend checking out the first thumbnail, part of her "We Love Our Planet" project. If *you* love your planet as well, please support her! <3

This artist works well with colors, has a wonderful semi-realistic style and the art is so much fun to look at! Whether it's a painter-y coloring style, cel-shading or a sketch - you can be sure that *PyroPanda will make it look great. (:



You can definitely tell from the thumbnails that ~rissespieces's work is full of unusual color combinations and unusual concepts which show that she is not only young and talented, but also creative.

~ayu-senpai's gallery is one you should definitely see if you like pictures that will make you think about it's meaning, pictures that feel like they tell a whole stories, and also if you're looking for a cute art style that isn't all "shiny desu".



This girl is one of the very few people who manage to make fanart look interesting as well - not only that, but she draws beautiful backgrounds, adds lots of details to the coloring and puts a lot of effort into her work.
