Deviantart is such a big community, unless someone is really talented or lucky, it is very hard to get publisized here. This is not to say that DA does not have its own pros, I get really happy when people actually spend alot of time commenting on my work and this is an advantage I only experienced in DA. However, I was quite upset when a few of my favourite artists I watched decided to leave DA one by one because their works are not well recognised...




As I browsed some articles from the news tribute section, I came across some interesting comments such as

"Just imagine if someone like `Artgerm, =alexiuss or =Teruchan actually did the community a favour and made a news article?, those featured would get the equivalent to receiving a DD!"

and

"If only more "popular" deviants did features for their watchers, everybody else would be getting soo much more attention".

The second comment I agree. I remembered how much I wanted to be featured when I just joined DA. Though I'm not a very 'opular' artist as Artgerm, I will still write this article as gratitude to my watchers and also because their art are worth featuring too.
After 1 and half years on DA, I had accumulated a huge watchlist. I'm now watching 200 over great artists. At the same time, people who watch me expanded alot tooXD

Whenever someone watches me, I will take the time to visit his or her gallery to know more about my watcher. And I'm really amazed by some of the high quality works they have. I think good art should get a fair chance of being viewed by more people instead of deviations from popular deviants only. To all my friends, I'm really grateful to have your company on DA. Your comments, faves and features have tremandously encouraged me. This article is a tribute to you. I have spent the whole day sieving through my watcher's gallery and featuring the good ones. But I couldn't manage to look through all of your galleries again, so don't worry if your work is really good and I didn't feature you this time, I will do a series of tributes.
