1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Well I'm 20 years old (21 as of September 3, 2008). I was born and raised in New York, United States. I am currently a senior Psychology major at New York University (working to get my Ph.D in another field though). Currently my jobs involve graphic design (for New York University Mascot Branding Project) and Vector Illustration

2. When did you fall in love with art?
Ahh I've been drawing ever since I could hold up a pencil. I probably fell in love with art when my parents got me my first painting set, when I was probably 3 or 4 years old. I've been drawing, doodling and painting non-stop ever since

3. How can you describe your style?
When it comes to vector art, I'm not entirely sure how to describe it. I know others have classified me as a "realism" artist, but I often look at some of the pieces I've done and I think they're far from realistic haha. So I would say it's a mix-and-match style, one that includes photo-realistic and stylistic elements.

4. What tools/software do you use to create your artworks?
For my vector art, I use Adobe Illustrator for 99.9% of the piece and Adobe Photoshop for touch ups and additional minor elements. For my pencil drawings, I generally use my trusty set of graphite pencils, and a large sketchbook

5. Can you tell us what you are currently working on?
Currently I'm working on vectoring the New York University Mascot (aka Violet the Bobcat, and various other names) for the NYU Branding project, scheduled to be rolled out on merchandise 2008-2009. I'm also working on my portfolio for my applications to Columbia Graduate School and School of Visual Arts, both located in Manhattan, New York.
