A huge amount of effort went into the color contest this month. But despite the gigantic amount of high-quality work submitted, several *color-me-club members found time to color the lines of others.

August brought us precariously close to the 3,000 deviation mark. So for those of you who haven't checked out the club, imagine a coloring book of thousands of pages. It's encyclopedic, that's what it is.

But enough shameless self-plugging. The focus is on the members and their hard work. We received hundreds of lineart submissions and color arts in the last few weeks. Dozens of entries for the coloring contest. Several new members joining the ranks. And a few really awesome pieces of work that deserved features in the weekly journal entry.
